Admitted Early Decision students must submit a Mid-year Report and updated transcript by the deadline of February 15 (or as soon as they are available if after the deadline). The Mid-year Report must be submitted directly by the school and must include an updated senior year transcript. We do not accept any of these materials submitted directly by the applicant. School counselors should submit the documents online through the Universal College Application or Common Application, fax it to 410-516-6025, or mail the Mid-year Report and transcript.

For schools on a trimester system we request senior year transcript updates after the first and second trimesters. The February 15 Mid-year Report does not apply for trimester schools. The report may be completed and sent either with the first trimester grades which will usually arrive in advance of February or with the second trimester grades which will typically arrive in March. The school counselor should mention the school's trimester system when the updated transcripts are submitted.

A Note on Standardized Test Dates
Johns Hopkins strongly recommends that Early Decision candidates complete their required standardized tests no later than October of their senior year. Regular Decision candidates should complete required tests no later than December of their senior year.

Although we cannot guarantee that November (ED) or January (RD) scores will arrive before the Admissions Committee evaluation, past experience suggests that scores taken on these dates usually arrive in time.

November (ED) or January (RD) scores will be accepted for those students unable to meet their test requirements by October (ED) or December (RD). In such cases, we encourage you to note your intention of taking the later standardized test(s) on your application. There is no need to rush your scores.
